Candlelight dinner for.......four???

When Shawn and I were first dating, my sister Chelsey decided to have us over for dinner so that she could meet Shawn. It turns out, while home all day, she decided to get fancy with this "casual" dinner. She set the table fancy and everything. When Shawn and I showed up, we were a little surprised and a little under dressed.  As awkward as it was and as crazy as Chelsey seemed, it was really fun.

So a year or so later, it's my turn. Breanna (one of my best friends) started dating Tom (a kid I grew up with). I hadn't seen Tom in a very long time and Shawn never met him. So after a little bit of bragging about my meatloaf, I decided to invite Breanna and Tom over for dinner to have them try it. It didn't take long for me to think about making into a fancy candlelight dinner.

We bought sparkling cider, candle stick holders, and matching flute glasses. Instead of letting them show up surprised, I decided to tell Bre but insisted that she didn't tell Tom. I told her I was going to turn meatloaf into a fancy meal. She was thrilled with the idea. Not even a couple days later, Tom found out. So the surprise was a little ruined, but it was still very enjoyable. Once it was a revealed, we all giggled and said how fun it would have been to be in suits and dresses......there's a thought!!!

Okay not super fancy, but still really fun :D

Until next time...
