Any ways, a big thanks has to go out to Noelle. She put together all of the Minute to Win It games that we played. Some were really tough, but I think it is safe to say that everyone who attended had a blast!
First we started out by eating some treats. I wish that part had been planned a little better because it seemed like we had a lot of treats and not enough snack. We had chips and salsa, cheese (that I thought tasted like feet. Everyone else loved it.) and crackers, cupcakes, and sugar cookies. So in reality we had about half and half.
After the snackage, we played a form of pictionary (this was my game). So instead of the normal person drawing trying to make the others guess, you have the person who isn't drawing tell the person drawing what to do and they try and guess what they are drawing. It is one of my favorite games!
We then played the Minute To Win It games. I think we played 11 of them total. The winner of the overall points was the "Holsens" aka Breanna Olsen and Tom Hansen. The only not married couple we had there. I don't remember the runners up but I know Shawn and I weren't last.
They were excited....the only ones to hook all three! |
They won "Handerpants" |
At the end of the night before everyone went home we had a white elephant exchange. Let's just say, we had some interesting gifts.
The Alexanders |
The "Holsens" |
The Stringhams |
The Sloans |
The Paynes (They forgot their gifts) |
This party was a success and I was so happy with the way it turned out. So one last thank you to Noelle (co-hostest) and everyone else who came and joined in on the fun.
Until next time...
That looks like such a fun night. Great ideas. I love the nickname the holsens. Very cute.
