I'd say one of the most important things that happened while I wasn't in the blogging spirit was that our Leili-kins turned one!!! She made it a year without her parents killing her! (I feel like that is what we were really celebrating, Shawn and I passed the first year of parenthood!)
I had so much fun planning Leili's party. Our Little Sunshine was the theme I chose. We had a good old fashioned BBQ with hamburgers and hot dogs. We had Sun-chips, Sunkist, orange and yellow layered jello squares, corn, and delicious strawberry lemonade cupcakes. I made some cute paper fans for decorations (never mind that the wind tried to destroy them) and Leili's own yellow smash cake. It was so fun and I loved that so many friends and family came to help us celebrate our little girls birthday.
