Leili's Baby Blessing

One day I have looked forward to since marrying Shawn is the day that he would bless our child. That day came on November 11 when he blessed our beautiful baby girl. He did an amazing job with her blessing and I really wish I had recorded it. Nothing like a blessing that brings more than just the emotional mom to tears.

I also bore my testimony that meeting, it is kind of an expected thing for the mother to do but I couldn't help but to get up. Of course I cried through the whole thing. It was funny when I stood up I heard Abbie behind me say "oh crap." I knew why she said it because she was going to cry and sure enough she did, along with Chelsey and my mom. 

After sacrament meeting was over everyone headed to our house. And man was our house packed with people. We had some delicious sandwiches and a bunch of salads and sides. Thanks to everyone who brought something, it was a HUGE help.
