Happy 23rd Birthday to ME

That's right, I turned 23 this year. My birthday fell on a Wednesday and so I made sure that both Shawn and I had it off. Shawn waited until I woke up that morning which was about nine o clock (and only because I forced myself back to sleep several times).  Then he brought me breakfast in bed, which consisted of a drink mix and pop-tarts- yummy! Along with breakfast I got to open my presents...YAY :).

Shawn bought me a life saver, seriously I already love the pregnancy pillow that he bought me. It has helped me sleep better than before. Pretty sure I will still want to sleep with it when I'm not even pregnant.

The other present I opened was a card from his parents. They (along with the Sloan siblings) gave me a gift card to the Apple Store. So guess what that meant??? Can you say iPhone 4S?

Thanks Sloans!!!! And especially Shawn. He has been wanting an iPhone for a long time but so generously gave up his upgrade so I could get one. He said that he was killing two birds with one stone. He wanted to get me a nicer camera for when we have the baby and my phone was starting to poop out on me. So tahdahhh camera phone! Got to love technology. The camera is great!!!

After we went and got my phone we went and hung out with Mike (Shawn's brother). He transferred my contacts for me and we played DrawSomething until Shawn and I headed off to my birthday dinner.

I was looking forward to my birthday dinner forever! I told Shawn months prior that Ruby River was a must and oh boy was it DELISH!! We invited my family and got an okay turn out. My grandma, mom, Abbie, Jake and Kasiah were able to make it. My dad was out of town, same with Dane, and of course Lyndsay and Chelsey.  I don't know where Brady was but apparently he couldn't come either. Any who, we had fun and all of us enjoyed our food. Thanks to my mom, she paid for my delicious meal!

Other birthday acknowledgments included cards from my grandma, the Hoge family, the Morris family, and the Peters family. The Peters also sent me money which turned into them buying two iPhone cases for me! Thanks Peters fam!!! My mom also gave me money, so I will probably buy some maternity shirts once I get bigger. YAY FOR SHOPPING!!! 

Oh and this is the card Lyndsay made for me! I loved all the birthday cards I received and took a picture of this one because she drew it! Didn't know she could draw :). Props to you Lyns!
