“Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family: Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.” – Jane Howard
Even though my legal name is now Sloan I will be a Harmon through and through, so to me being a Harmon means the world. It means I have loving parents who are great examples. It means I have brothers and sisters who I absolutely love, despite our many differences. It means that if I ever need someone I have plenty of people to turn to. It means I will never be alone in this world. I love my family to death. Of course we have had our problems and arguments, but in the end we are always family. We are always there for each other. We love each other.

What does now being a Sloan mean to me? Just like being a Harmon, being a Sloan is a blessing. It now means I have even more people to be there for me. It means that I have more brothers and sisters who love and care for me. Being a Sloan adds a lot of love into my life which I am so grateful for. I love being a Sloan but mainly because I love the Sloans.

Awwww tender!
